Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies opened new customer-service facilities in Warwick on Saturday.
The former British champion cut the ribbon at the official opening of new ‘one stop’ shop at Shire Hall, at which residents can receive information about any council services. She then went on to meet members of swimming clubs in the area.

The opening also included the town’s new post office, which has moved from Brook Street to premises inside Shire Hall.

An open day for the public included live music, face painting and a competition for a season ticket to a county council country park or family swimming membership to any council run pool.
