Decision on new homes plan is still due in May

DELAYS in getting hold of information about transport infrastructure will not hold up a decision on where future development around Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth will go.

Warwick District Council voted on Wednesday for further changes to its schedule in drawing up its next local plan governing housebuilding and development.

Councillors voted in December to allow around 550 homes a year between 2014 and 2028 - 8,250 in all and more than twice the number most residents chose in a consultation last summer.
